Geoff's love affair with all things time related began at the age of 7 when his godfather gave him an old, broken mantel clock. Fascinated with the cogs and wheels, he took the mechanism to pieces and, to everybody's amazement, carried out his first successful repair!
The same clock has travelled with Geoff through his various careers from professional musician to running his own electronics company. Nearly forty years and countless clocks later, it still sits quietly ticking away the hours on his shelf.
Since then, Geoff has amassed a wealth of knowledge along with an eclectic personal collection ranging from 19th Century longcase clocks to vintage travel alarms and has carried out repairs for family, friends and neighbours just for the love of it. Recently, he has undertaken restoration and repairs on a professional basis and the Vintage Clock Company was born from this development.
